Community SIG hopes to provide an outlet for those students who want to learn more about the pharmacy profession. The focus of the group will highlight community practice and involve topics that concern current issues, future outlook, and career pathways. A broader discussion and outlook of pharmacy will also be pursued to allow greater understanding of the pharmacy landscape. Opportunities for community service will be available in addition to a group project that will help hone pharmacy knowledge and skills. Community SIG’s mission is to afford all students, who are unsure about their place in pharmacy, a chance to find professional perspective in surveying the field.
